After several years of inactivity, the Jackson City Tree Commission has been reactivated with new members and an initial meeting was conducted at 5 p.m. on Monday, March 28, at the Jackson City Council chambers. Per city ordinance, the membership is to be composed of three city residents, the city service director and one city councilman.
