FREE Long ordeal ends with no reported injuries or health impactsRECAP FROM TODAY’S INCIDENT: A scary situation unfolded in rural Elk Township in Vinton County on Wednesday morning, June 11, that resulted in township residents as well as the Village of Zaleski residents having to evacuate for safety reasons. The evacuation orders were issued by the Vinton County Sheriff’s Office after Austin Powder’s Red Diamond Plant near Zaleski had a hazardous-materials incident.
