Wayne Brinton Williams, age 90 of Jackson, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the Edgewood Manor in Wellston, Ohio.

He was born on August 20, 1935, in Oak Hill to the late Dwight R. Williams and Frances Marie Kuhn. Wayne was proud to be a member of the 1955 SEOAL championship football team at Jackson High school. He worked in various industries in Columbus, Chillicothe, and Jackson, including DT&I and the City of Jackson. Later in life, he was a farmer and raised Charolais cattle. He was an avid Reds, Buckeyes, and Jackson Ironmen fan and enjoyed playing cards with friends at the AmVets. Wayne was a 50+ year member of the Moose Lodge.
Wayne is survived by his daughters: Marge (Ed) Henderson, Terri Williams, and Laura (Tony) Thorne; his brother, Charles Williams; grandchildren: Jami (Terry) Trisch, Samantha (Eddie) Hughes, Tucker (Jocey) Thorne, and Ian (Kay) Thorne; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his brother, Wendell Williams, and an infant sister, Dolly Mae Williams.
