The Vinton County Health Department, Vinton County Commissioners, Davis Veterinary Service, and the Vinton County Dog Shelter have partnered to provide rabies clinic for dogs and cats as well as dog licenses on Wednesday, June 18, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. The clinic open to Vinton County residents will be held at Wyman Park at 510 Northview Road, McArthur.
The rabies vaccinations for cats and dogs will cost $5. The cost for dog license fees will be $14. Cats and dogs must be at least 3 months old. Rabies vaccinations will be either 1 or 3 years depending on veterinarian’s discretion. Dogs must be on a leash and cats must be in a covered basket, box or carrier.
