TERRY “TINK” STEWART

Terry E. “Tink” Stewart, age 71, of Wellston, passed away Friday morning, October 31, 2025, at his home. He was born on March 29, 1954, in Oak Hill, Ohio to Walter E. Stewart and Luann Campbell Stewart.

Terry was a 1972 graduate of Wellston High School, where he was actively involved in football, basketball and baseball for the Wellston Golden Rockets. Following graduation from high school, Terry graduated from Bowling Green State University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in distributive education. Terry was a retired heavy equipment operator who was self-employed and worked with the family business, Stewarts Construction. Being the huge sports enthusiast and supporter that he was, all of Terry’s spare time was spent attending Wellston Rockets sporting events and cheering for The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, and Bowling Green State University Falcons. Terry always enjoyed a good conversation with others, especially if the conversation involved sports.

He is survived by his father, Walter Stewart; children: Brett Stewart (Felicia), Linsay Sickles (Bradley Bell), Dustin Garey (Charla), Brandon Garey (Maria) and Shaleah Prater; his little buddy, Brayden Dotson; his best buddy, Kyle Stewart; grandchildren: Malaki, Kloie, Mason, Hailey, Brae, Caydence, Lochlynn, Keyona, Jahzlyn, and Carmine; siblings: Paul Stewart (Roxanne), Sherry Headley (Dennis), and Jack Stewart (Teresa); along with several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Luann Stewart.

Calling hours will be Monday, November 3, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 4, at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Collins officiating. Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Coalton.
