Sally Lu Howard Penix

Sally Lu Howard Penix passed away peacefully in her home after a long battle with cancer on February 29, 2024, at the age of 70. Sally was born on July 1, 1953, to Donald and Patricia Mapes Howard in Ross County, Ohio.

Sally was an incredibly brave, funny, loving, and strong-willed woman who was larger than life. She loved her dog Sammy, watching the birds in her beautiful yard, her flower gardens, playing word games, and catching up with her countless friends. Sally knew how to throw a party and had many at her home with lots of family and friends, food, fun, bonfires, and euchre games. She loved decorating her home and shopping and made sure her children and grandchildren were never in need.
