Patricia Faye Kight

On April 28, 2024, Patricia Faye Kight passed away peacefully at Four Winds Nursing Home after a long and brave battle with dementia. Pat was born to Clarence and Marcella Kight in Coalton, Ohio on March 30, 1945, as the youngest of thirteen children.

She married Jimmy “Lattie” Robinson in 1963, and her only biological child, Clarence “Dan” Robinson, was born in 1965. She then later became “Nana” to granddaughters: Sirena, Tierra, and LeeAnn.

Pat was a proud member both of Coalton Freewill Baptist Church and Bethel Ridge Baptist Church. She also proudly cared for her husband until his death and her mother until her death. She was deeply involved in raising her granddaughters, including teaching them to jump rope and being a safe place and a listening ear for all their secrets. She was an excellent milkshake maker, snack getter and, on at least one occasion, snuck Sirena and Tierra out to go play skee-ball past their bedtime. She was a staple at band concerts and soccer games and was the best sick-day companion anyone could ask for.

Anyone who ever met Pat knows that if you came through her kitchen door, you were welcomed like family. She would happily give anything she had to anyone who needed it and had a generous servant’s heart. She loved to talk scripture and loved the Lord and tried to live the way she felt He led her to.

Pat is preceded in death by her husband, Lattie; son, Dan; daughters-in-law: Melody Robinson and Debra Robertson; siblings: Irene Williams, Maxine Gallichio, Helen McCray, Kay Keller, Rita Poe, Wayne Kight, Bob Kight, Richard Kight and Ralph Kight; along with her parents: Clarence and Marcella; in-laws: Enos and Hazel Robinson; and brother-in-law, Richard Robertson. She is survived by brother, Ronnie Kight; son, Gary Robertson; granddaughters: Sirena (Matt) Luczak, Tierra (Trace) Sloan, LeeAnn (Nick) Brunton; and great-grandchildren: Brody and Branden Brunton and Noelle, Noah, and Reece Luczak; along with almost countless nieces and nephews and people who loved her.

While we meet the loss of Pat with great sadness, our hearts rejoice to know that she is with her loved ones, and we know that she is now at peace and has no suffering. We invite you to join us in celebrating her life, and also in celebrating her triumphant welcome home. While she will be missed here with us, we know her journey and her reward for a life walked with God. Until we meet again.
