A large crowd turned out for the Wellston Rotary Senior Citizens Pancake Dinner held Thursday, Nov. 3, at the Wellston Senior Citizen Center. The atmosphere was lively as Rotarians Kim Burroughs, Dorothy Riepenhoff, and Tina Stroud were cooking and even doing some decorative pancakes if requested to do so.
Donna Summers and Dave Burroughs were among those handling the serving and the evening offered fellowship as well as good food. Wellston Rotary Club President Craig Klein collected the money and a host of Rotarians were helping out as well with other preparations. The club conducts the event as an annual fundraiser to support the Wellston Senior Citizen Center and its services and activities.

The Wellston Rotary Club is active in many civic projects to benefit the community in a variety of ways. The club also hosts an annual show entitled the Wellston Rotary Show. The club maintains a Facebook Page and is looking for new members.
