Oak Hill Class of 2025 announces honor graduatesFree Access


Oak Hill High School’s Class of 2025 will hold its graduation ceremony on Friday, May 16 at 8 p.m. at the Davis Stadium of Oak Hill. Students should arrive at 7:15 p.m. for flowers at the field house concession stand.

The Class of 2025’s honor students are listed as follows:

Valedictorians

Joseph Anteby is the son of Sara Friddle. His school activities include varsity football, varsity basketball, varsity baseball, Drug Free Club, National Honor Society and Student Council. His other activities include lifeguarding at the Oak Hill pool. Mr. Anteby plans to attend The Ohio State University and major in biochemistry. After undergraduate school, he plans to attend graduate school and become a pharmacist.

Caleb Chambers is the son of Charles and Rachel Chambers. His activities include varsity cross country, varsity basketball, varsity track, FFA (president), Drug Free Club (ambassador) and National Honor Society (service chair). His other activities include 4-H (junior mentor), NWTF and Farm Bureau. Mr. Chambers plans to attend Miami University to purse a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.

Walker Fowble is the son of Ryan and Beth Fowble. His activities include varsity cross country, varsity basketball, varsity track, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Student Council, FFA, Business Professionals of America, National Honor Society and Drug Free Club. Walker is also a past member of Marching Band, Choir, High Q and Musical. His other activities include Grande Chorale (Rio Grande Choir), River City Fellowship and 4-H. Mr. Fowble plans to attend the Marshall University to study biochemistry with aspirations of completing their pharmacy doctorate.

Kassidy Sickles is the daughter of Jason and Bethany Sickles. Her school activities include varsity softball, FFA (vice president), National Honor Society and Drug Free Club. Miss Sickles plans to attend the surgical tech program at Buckeye Hills Career Center.

Maggie Smittle is the daughter of Wendi Wood. Her school activities include Band, Choir, Musical, Tri-M Music Honors Society, High Q, Book Club, National Honor Society, Atomic Credit Union, Oak Hill Pep Band and Acapella. Her other activities include Rio Grande Pep Band, OMEA Highschoolers State Choir, Scioto Honors Choir and Band. Miss Smittle plans to attend The Ohio University as an HTC History Major. There are many possibilities after undergraduate school, but she is considering law school.

Salutatorian

Isabella Lunsford is the daughter of Buck and Megan Lunsford. Her school activities include varsity cheerleader, varsity basketball, varsity track, Yearbook Committee, Drug Free Club (ambassador), National Honor Society (service chair), and a three-year CCP student. Her other activities include 2024 Jackson Apple Festival Queen, running her small t-shirt business (Belle’s Body Shop), lifeguarding at Oak Hill pool and she is a lifelong member of the Old Country Tabernacle Church. Miss Lunsford plans to attend the University of Rio Grande in the traditional registered nursing program. She will also be cheering at Rio Grande in Fall 2025.
