Zachary Slone recently joined the Jackson Police Department as a patrol officer. Slone was introduced by Jackson Mayor Randy Evans at the Jackson City Council meeting on Monday evening, Oct. 27. Slone gained previous law enforcement experience with the Oak Hill Police Department and was also an auxiliary police officer with the Jackson Police Department. His hiring brings the Jackson Police Department back to its full complement of 12 full-time officers. Slone (center) is pictured with Jackson Police Chief Brett Hinsch (left) and Mayor Evans (right).
