Local defense attorney Christopher Michael Moore was found not guilty on all counts by a Jackson County Common Pleas Court jury Monday afternoon, Oct. 24.
The jury went into deliberation Thursday afternoon, Oct. 20 and had still not reached a decision by the following afternoon. They returned Monday morning to continue and were able to agree on the not-guilty verdicts by approximately 1:30 p.m. that afternoon.
Moore, age 50, of 30 Evanswood Drive, Jackson, was indicted by a Jackson County Grand Jury in mid-April 2021, on three counts of rape and three counts of gross sexual imposition, all involving the same alleged child victim.
