Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau Dinner in the Street to be held Sunday, Oct. 15Free Access

The Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau’s annual Dinner in the Street event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 15 at 2 p.m. on the street in the block between Main and Pearl streets in downtown Jackson.

This sit-down dinner served by local FFA kids will feature your choice of steak or chicken dinners prepared on site by Smokin’ Butts BBQ for $45 for Farm Bureau members and $55 for non-members. HeBrews Coffee Shop and Bakery will provide coffee, tea and a homemade dessert, and Sixth Sense Brewing will have their locally crafted beer. A Blender Bike will peddle Sangrias, and guests will build their own appetizer and make their own homemade butter, which is all included in the cost.

All proceeds will go toward the Jackson, Oak Hill and Wellston FFA Chapters. Those interested must call the Farm Bureau Office at 740-286-4598 by Friday, Oct. 6 to register. Seating is limited to the first 100 callers.
