Jackson Christmas Parade set Saturday, Dec. 7; donations requested of participantsFree Access


The Jackson County Gear Grinders have announced that the annual Jackson Christmas Parade will be conducted at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7.

After the parade, Cultivating Our Future will light up the night with its annual Tree-Lighting event in Manpower Park. Traditionally, the Jackson Christmas Parade begins on Broadway Street in the downtown area and ends at Manpower Park on East Main Street.

Those wishing to participate as units in the parade are requested to contact Tom Long of the Jackson County Gear Grinders to reserve a spot.

A monetary donation of $15 to $25 is suggested from each participating parade unit. These funds will be used to help support the Shifting Gears for Christmas Cheer, which is the mission project of the Jackson County Gear Grinders. Donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 8, Jackson, OH 45640.
