The Vinton County Local School District invites the public to the Healthy Meals for Healthy Minds event, to be held on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at West Elementary School, located at 57750 U.S. Highway 50 in McArthur. This event, sponsored by the Joe Burrow Foundation, the Appalachian Children Coalition and the Athens-Hocking-Vinton 317 Board, is giving away free groceries (while supplies last), including items suitable for Thanksgiving dinners.
