The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO) invites residents and friends of the 32-county region to its 2025 virtual Giving Tuesday celebration. Both Jackson and Vinton counties are in the FAO region.
The event, which will be hosted via Zoom, will be held at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2 and will be rebroadcast at 7 p.m. The celebration is free and open to all.
“This Giving Tuesday, we invite all who share our commitment to a flourishing Appalachian Ohio to come together in celebration,” said Cara Dingus Brook, FAO President and CEO. “This is an opportunity to reflect on our shared impact and to be inspired by what bold gifts of time, talent and treasure can make possible.”
The event will include the presentation of FAO’s 2025 awards:
Chaddock Philanthropist of the Year, honoring those who have made an outsized difference in the region through philanthropy.
Changemaker of the Year, celebrating an organization, team or individuals for advancing transformative change within the region Register for FAO’s Giving Tuesday celebration online.
