Volunteers at Christ Church of Jackson packed 300 food bags for this year’s End Christmas Hunger project last Sunday, Dec. 14. The food was distributed later in the week to needy families and individuals in the Jackson area. This year marked the 70^th year for the charity project, which was initiated in 1955 by the Henry family of Jackson. Two of the youngest volunteers at the packing session were Blakely Morrow (left) and Destiny McCorkle (right). For the complete story, see page B4 of today’s edition.
