Elizabeth Hopper welcomed as new JFD firefighterFree Access

Elizabeth Hopper (center) was officially welcomed as a new member of the Jackson Fire Department (JFD) during the Jackson City Council meeting on Monday evening, Dec. 22. Hopper became familiar with fire department operations as a JFD cadet member. She has completed the required training and instruction and is a fully certified firefighter. She is pictured with her father, Charles Hopper (left), who is also a JFD firefighter and with Jackson Mayor Randy Evans (right), who introduced her.
