Democratic candidate for governor visits Apple FestivalFree Access

Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley, the Democratic candidate for Ohio governor in this November’s General Election, paid a visit to the Jackson Apple Festival on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 21. While at the festival, she had the opportunity to meet local Democratic supporters, including Jackson County Democratic Party Chair Lisa Parker. Pictured (from the left) in the front row are Calvin Parker, Mary Jean Rieder Reinhart, Aggie Martin, Marsha Batey, Lisa Parker, Bill Martin, Nan Whaley, and Rodney Smith. Parker noted that three other statewide Democratic Party candidates were also scheduled to attend the festival on Wednesday: Ohio State Treasurer candidate Scott Schertzer, Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice candidate Jennifer Brunner and Ohio Supreme Court Associate Justice candidate Marilyn Zayas.
