Buel Harvey Farley




Buel Harvey Farley, age 69, of Wellston, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2007, at his residence. He was born October 13, 1937 in Franklin County, Ohio, the son of the late Alva Mack Farley and Pauline Eve Bailey Farley. Mr. Farley was a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as an aviation mechanic. He was a former employee of Banquet Foods and Jeno’s and later retired from Quality Bakery in Columbus, Ohio, where he was a sanitation supervisor. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 45 years, Connie McKinniss Farley; children, Dorraine (Craighton) Mullins of Wellston, Donna (Ed) Smith of Wellston, Buel (Jesse) Farley of Langsville, Joe (Lisa) Farley of Georgia, Deanna (Jim) Sligar of Vinton and Craighton (Andrea) Farley of Seville, Oh.; grandchildren, Craighton III, Pvt. Dustin B. (Krystal) and Seth Mullins, Samantha and Caleb Smith, Amanda (Jeremy) Goheen, Joe, Shane and Derrick Farley, Corey, Alicia and Tricia Masters, Bradford Huertez, Devin, Bailey and Joey Farley, Chevelle, Ashley and Tamara Sligar, and Tyler Farley; great-grandchildren, Braydin Mullins, Haily and Gage Goheen, Adrian Farley, Dominic Farley and Kaine “Tiny Man” Jones; special family friend, Melissa Farley, as well as several nieces, nephews and close family friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas, James, Mack, Raymond, Donald and Douglas. Calling hours will be Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Cremation will follow.
