The Village of Coalton has hired a new utilities clerk as the village’s long-time water/sewer/court clerk is set to retire at the end of the month.
The City of Jackson and the union which serves members of Local 3619 of the AFSCME Ohio Council 8, AFL-CIO, Local 3619 have reached an agreement on a new 3-year labor contract. This union represents all unionized city employees except for the city’s supervisors and police department, each of which have their own unions and operate under separate contracts.
