Jackson County Common Pleas Court trial canceled Jan. 10; jurors need not report



The Jackson County Common Pleas Court has announced that a jury trial which had been scheduled to start Monday, Jan. 10, has been canceled. Therefore, prospective jurors need not report to the Court.

 

VC basketball games set for Thursday, Jan. 6 called off



The Vinton County Local School District has announced that the girls’ varsity basketball game scheduled for this Thursday evening, Jan. 6, between the Lady Vikings and visiting River Valley Lady Raiders has been postponed and rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 7.
