The Jackson Farmers Market is set to begin Saturday, June 26, across from Eddie Jones Park on Harding Avenue in Jackson. It will be open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will continue until October. All local farmers from Jackson County are welcome to participate. There is no set-up fee, but only locally grown, agriculture-related products are allowed to be sold.

Ohio Pest Control, in conjunction with Milton Township, will be conducting mosquito spraying on Thursday, June 17 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. If inclement weather prevents the spraying, then it will be done the following Thursday, June 24, at the same time.
World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) was launched by the International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse (INPEA) and the World Health Organization at the United Nations.
