The regularly scheduled Wellston City Council meeting, set for 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, will be open to the public. However, due to the need for social distancing, there will be limited seating. The meeting will take place in the City Council chambers on the second floor of the Wellston City Building.
2020 Census begins new phase
The U.S. Census Bureau has announced, in coordination with federal, state and local health officials, it will begin to drop off 2020 Census questionnaire packets at front doors of households in Ohio.

Importuning, Identity Fraud among charges for 20-plus year illegal immigrant
Over a two-day span in May, officers with the Jackson Police Department (JPD) submitted to the Jackson County Prosecutor’s office a slew of charges, two of which are felony-level offenses, against a man who has admittedly been living in the U.S. illegally on an expired work visa for over 20 years.
