Ohio Governor Mike DeWine employed a war analogy as he implored and pleaded with Ohioans to adhere to the orders and recommendations aimed at reducing the spread of the ever emerging COVID-19 (coronavirus) in the state. He also announced a new order which will affect local programs serving developmentally disabled adults.

The Jackson County Board on Aging wants to make it clear that it will continue to operate its home-delivered meals and transportation programs.

Until this past Friday afternoon, March 20, there had been 169 confirmed cases of the dreaded coronavirus disease in Southeastern Ohio, but none in Southeastern Ohio.
