Ribbon-Cutting event at Manpower Park to celebrate sidewalk, other improvements



Jackson Mayor Randy Heath and other Jackson city officials are inviting the public to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at the city’s Manpower Park on East Main Street to celebrate the recent completion of a new sidewalk as well as other recent grant-funded improvements in the park.

Abbey Munn, Emma Wiley named Jackson Rotary Seniors of the Month for December



Two Jackson High School seniors with outstanding records of academic achievement and involvement in extra-curricular and community activities are being honored by the Jackson Rotary Club as its “Seniors of the Month” for December, 2019.
Abbey Munn and Emma Wiley were introduced at the Jackson Rotary Club’s weekly luncheon meeting held Tuesday, Dec. 2. They will be honored guests at each of the club’s meetings in December and both students will be given the opportunity to speak to the members at the final meeting of the month.
