A Jackson City Police cruiser which was responding to an emergency call was involved in a two-vehicle crash at 5:14 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at the intersection of West Main and Bridge streets in Jackson.
Jackson 4th of July Celebration to include fireworks, Manpower Park doings, parade on July 3
Jackson’s Annual 4th of July Celebration will take place on Wednesday evening, July 3 with the highlights being a major fireworks display, a parade through the downtown area, varied family-oriented activities at Manpower Park and a major 5K Run on the holiday itself, Thursday morning, July 4.
Bless Their Soles donors provide summer footwear
The Bless Their Soles Flip Flop Drive is under way in the Jackson area with the objective of providing flip flops for children who are in need of summer footwear. The drive will continue through July.
