BULLETIN: Demolition of Post Office Cafe in Wellston to begin Tuesday morning
Demolition of the former Post Office Café building in downtown Wellston is scheduled to begin at 7 a.m. this Tuesday, March 19 with a local contractor, Sexton’s Excavating of Jackson, lined up to do the big job. The demolition project was planned after a large section of the outside wall collapsed sometime during the early-morning hours of Monday, March 11th.

‘Love one another. Just as I have loved you.’ – John 13:34.Thursday, May 2, will mark the 19th Jackson County National Day of Prayer at the Jackson Memorial Building. Over the years, this one event has spawned new traditions as well, with the City of Wellston and Village of Coalton hosting annual National Prayer Day events as well last year. This year, Jackson and Wellston both have plans to conduct events.
