JPD given grim news about layoffs should income tax not be imposed
The Jackson Police Department would likely incur major personnel cuts if Jackson City Council votes against imposing a proposed 1 percent city income tax at a special council meeting at 8 p.m. next Monday evening, Dec. 18 in the Jackson City Council chambers.
