Tomato, soda cans used to conceal Heroin

During the Coalton Village Council meeting of May 16, the legislative body gave first reading to a resolution which would ultimately place a 2.6 mill fire levy on the November, 2016 ballot. According to Assistant Fire Chief Johnny Baker, that would bring in about $7,000 each year.

Frick Gallagher property to be offered for sale
The members of Wellston City Council met Thursday evening, June 16 and although the open meeting lasted only 26 minutes, an executive session to discuss personnel was held at the end with no action to be taken. Two ordinances were given first readings with the first, Ordinance 2016-114, authorizing the sale of the Frick Gallagher property and giving the mayor the power to advertise for bids on the property.
